How can Rose bear the loss of her parents?
Rose Watson is a beautiful girl living a happy Amish life together as father and daughter, aware of the pain caused by the death of a loved one because Emma, Rose’s mother, is dead. It changes again when she realizes that the young man has come to mean more to her than she’d imagined possible.

Just two weeks later, Micah knows that he’s in love, but Rose isn’t sure that she feels the same, and she doubts his whirlwind romance. When she discovers the truth behind her father’s sudden death, he fears that he’s lost her for good, but vows to stay by her side and wait. Then their small community is turned upside down when the truth is spread, nearly everyone turns against Rose, and Micah must be her willing and handsome savior.
Can Rose learn to trust Micah and his love for her or will her fear stand in the way of eternal happiness at last?

Couldn't lay this one down. Could she get past her shock and find love. And would the nosy neighbors realize she was the victim, not the one at fault.
This is an out of the ordinary Amish love story. I hope you all will read it and get its message about forgiveness and judgment.

I can truthfully say I'm glad I read this book. I recommend it to anyone who wants to read a great book. The double ending was an eye opener, finding out the father's secret and confronting the hordes. Great book.
Sarah Sowell and her sister Martha Sowell are extremely excellent authors. They both have lead and beta readers so you rarely find an error that disturbs your reading. Forsaken Amish Girl girl is a story about an Amish girl, but it could be anyone of us in the world. There is gossips in all communities, and gossip usually becomes blown out of the truth. It hurts everyone involued,even down to the children. The plot and characters are well developed in this novel. Of course their is love, which all people want and need. Sarah Sowell brings you into the story you feel all of the emotions. The sign of an accomplished writer. I hope you get to read this book and many more written by these sisters, I have and enjoyed them all.

The story was short but there is a lot to learn from it. Gave you a different slant on the Amish
